Markus Kreuzberg is a patent attorney and has been an equity partner at Braun-Dullaeus Pannen Emmerling (BDPE) in Düsseldorf since 2019. He has worked in intellectual property since 2005, representing clients before the German Patent and Trademark Office (DPMA), the German Federal Patent Court (BPatG), the European Patent Office (EPO), the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).

He has extensive experience in the implementation of patent and utility model law and a sound knowledge of international legal practice in intellectual property law, not least due to the support he has provided to clients who are also active outside Europe. Further areas of expertise are employee invention law, trademark law and design protection.
Before founding the new firm, he was a partner and, from 2014 until now, an equity partner at Braun-Dullaeus Pannen. Markus completed his training at the patent and law firm BPSH in Düsseldorf and worked there as a patent attorney until 2010. During his training as a patent attorney, he worked at the Patent Litigation Chamber of the District Court of Düsseldorf, the German Patent and Trademark Office and the Federal Patent Court.
Prior to his training as a patent attorney, Markus worked as an engineer in the metal processing industry for several years, where he was responsible for the development and implementation of new production processes. In addition, he gained experience as an environmental engineer in the implementation of complex legal requirements in practice.
He studied process engineering at the Technical University of Clausthal and technical environmental protection at the Technical University of Berlin.
