Heinrich Georg Pannen (Heinrich) is an attorney and equity partner at BDPE in Düsseldorf. He has many years of experience in all areas of intellectual property and copyright law. Heinrich has been an equity partner of the patent and law firm Braun-Dullaeus Pannen Emmerling (BDPE) since 2019. Until the end of 2018, he was managing partner of the patent and law firm Braun-Dullaeus Pannen. His focus is on managing national and international IP portfolios, particularly in the areas of trademarks and designs.
He specializes in trademark and design litigation and represents his clients in infringement proceedings before the ordinary courts throughout Germany. In addition, his practice also includes patent, competition and copyright law. Due to his profound knowledge of the industry, he advises not only companies in the fields of trade, technology and energy supply, but also companies in the advertising industry, in particular in name finding proceedings. His activities in this area also include ensuring legally compliant advertising measures and drafting agency-specific contracts.
Since his admission to the bar in 1994, he has continuously deepened his specialization in intellectual property law and works in correspondingly specialized law and patent law firms.
He studied at the University of Cologne and the University of Montpellier.
