Katja Latos joined Braun-Dullaeus Pannen Emmerling (BDPE) as an attorney in 2019. She was admitted to the bar in 2015, and specialized as a lawyer in the field of intellectual property law, with a focus on trade mark law. Her expertise includes trade mark litigation, in particular infringement actions before German courts as well as opposition and nullity proceedings before the German Patent and Trade Mark Office and the Federal Patent Court.
Her legal work includes trademark application, opposition and appeal proceedings before the German Patent and Trademark Office as well as the German Federal Patent Court. She also represents and advises specialists and executives of companies in the field of employment law, as well as clients in the fields of copyright, competition and trademark law.

Katja represents clients nationwide before the ordinary courts and labor courts. Prior to joining BDPE, she worked for a law firm specializing in copyright and media law. Her main focus was on employment law, copyright law and commercial law.
During her legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf, she worked for media law firms in Düsseldorf and Krakow.
Katja gained her first experience in the field of intellectual property law by working for a Düsseldorf patent law firm for several years.
She studied law at the University of Düsseldorf with a focus on commercial and intellectual property law.
